Chicago 2024 Host Committee Announces Vendor Directory and Venue Map

CHICAGO, IL – Today, the Chicago 2024 Host Committee is launching its DNC Vendor Directory and Venue Map, which includes more than 1,700 businesses and venues available for this summer’s Democratic National Convention.

The vendor directory and venue map aim to connect the 50,000 delegates and other visitors to the wealth of local vendors available in Chicago leading up to, during, and after the Convention. The vendor directory and venue map are made up of Chicagoland businesses, individuals, and venues––of which more than 70% identified as diverse.

“Disseminating the DNC Vendor Directory and Venue Map is a significant step towards spreading the economic benefits of the Convention around to vendors across the Chicagoland region,” said Christy George, Executive Director of the Chicago 2024 Host Committee. “Chicago’s robust small business community is on full display in our directory and we look forward to working with our partners across the city to continue growing this critical resource.”

“One of our top priorities is ensuring that this year’s Democratic National Convention leaves a lasting legacy for Chicagoland businesses,” said Alex Hornbrook, Democratic National Convention Committee Executive Director. “President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats know that small businesses are the heartbeat of the American economy, and we’re excited to provide our visitors with a resource that will showcase the city’s diverse and vibrant business community for years to come.”

“The DNC Vendor Directory and Venue Map are a critical step for elevating Chicago’s diverse business community and giving them the first bite at the apple for Convention programming and events,” said Jackie Gomez, Host Committee Business Diversity Advisory Council Co-Chair and Executive Director for the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association. “We are excited to continue to grow this repository so that it can be used as a resource long after the Convention is gone.”

“As we plan for the Democratic National Convention, it is critical we create resources that have a lasting impact,” said Jaemie Neely, Host Committee Business Diversity Advisory Council Co-Chair and Executive Director for the Federation of Women Contractors. “The Vendor Directory and Venue Map are exactly that and will have utility long after delegates have left our city. This is a welcomed resource by the Host Committee and we look forward to continuing to circulate it with our members.”
Businesses or individuals interested in being included in the Vendor Directory or Venue Map or contracting with the Host Committee, Democratic National Convention Committee, or on the ancillary events surrounding the Convention should submit their information via the Vendor Interest Form as soon as possible.

The vendor directory is already being shared with state parties, allied groups, and other stakeholders as they begin planning their ancillary Convention events.

After the Convention, the vendor directory will be shared with Chicago’s local chambers of commerce, tourism entities like Choose Chicago and Enjoy Illinois, and other large-scale event planners.
