Tandoor Char House

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Tandoor Char House has the unique distinction of being the first international halal steakhouse. Influenced by their rich Indian and Pakistani heritage and driven by their collective passion for the culinary arts, brothers Fahim and Faraz Sardharia opened the first Tandoor Char House on their mothers’ birthday, February 7, 2012 in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

With deep roots in the heart of Lincoln Park, the brick and mortar family-run restaurant represents their unique approach to fine dining.

Often called a “gem” and “delicious” by new and returning customers, Tandoor Char House garnered its support by being family-focused, offering halal meats and BYOB to meet the expectations of the culture as well as the community that the restaurant serves.
