Gene & Georgetti Steakhouse

Gene & Georgetti is Chicago’s oldest steakhouse, dating from 1941 housed in the third oldest wood-framed building celebrating 150 Years this year. Gene & Georgetti invented such dishes as the Garbage Salad, Chicken alla Joe, and was rumored to be one of the original offerings of Shrimp de Jonghe. Storied celebrities, politicians, & businesspeople have dined at Gene & Georgetti throughout our 83 year history. Our restaurant consists of two floors with multiple entrances and exits, and includes secluded private dining rooms for 12 to 150 guests.
