As Chicago’s oldest cultural institution, the Chicago History Museum invites you and your guests into our war, historical space. Established in 1856, the Chicago History Museum connects people to Chicago’s history and to each other. To share Chicago stories, the Museum collects and preserves millions of artifacts, documents, images, and other items that are relevant to the city’s history. Tucked along the gardens of Lincoln Park with views of the historic Chicago skyline, the Chicago History Museum offers a variety of spaces both indoor and outdoor that can be used for special events, corporate events, nonprofit events, daytime meetings, cocktail receptions, presentations in our 299-seat theater and seated dinners.
