Chefs and partners Beverly Kim and Johnny Clark opened Parachute back in 2014, and although the menu has changed over time, their goal remains the same: serving Korean food from the heart to our neighbors in Avondale and the Greater Chicago area. Whether you dine in the restaurant for an onion seafood pancake and glass of rice-wine, or grab rice cake noodles and dry-aged sirloin for takeout or delivery, Parachute’s food is grounded in family recipes with an elevated twist worthy of its Michelin stars and James Beard Awards.
