Under a 501(c)(3) non for porfit organization, Crafted by Her was launched as a Skill Development project in a remote village in Bangladesh, where 400+ artisans were hired and are trained to produce beautiful, natural, plant based (Jute, Segrass, Kans Grass etc.) hand made products such as baskets, rugs, hand bags and other home decor accessories. This way over 400 women are now receiving a dignified employment and Crafted by Her is bringing the products made by these skilled artisans to the western markets. Any profits made from this project are reinvested in the project, our goal is to take this 400 to 1000 women so more women can have this opportunity to live a dignified life.
